Summer Sparkler

• Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz light rum
  • 2 oz canned whipped cream
  • 3 oz sparkling water
  • blue sanding sugar (optional)

  Recipe

  1. 1. Rim tall glass with lemon juice and blue sugar. (optional)
  2. 2. Add chopped strawberries and lemon juice to shaker then muddle thoroughly.
  3. 3. Add simple syrup, rum, and ice to shaker.
  4. 4. Add whipped cream (spray can for 4 seconds) and fresh ice to tall glass.
  5. 5. Shake strawberry mixture until frosty and strain into glass.
  6. 6. Top glass with sparkling water and gently stir.

  • 2 cups light rum
  • 2 cups canned whipped cream
  • 3 cups sparkling water
  • blue sanding sugar (optional)
